About Sunshine Volleyball Club

Club director Cari Klein loved playing volleyball at Irvine High School and Pepperdine University, and founded Sunshine Volleyball Club so she could share her passion for the sport with the next generation.  Since its founding in 1998, Sunshine Volleyball has grown to become the #1 girl's volleyball club in Southern California, with 25-plus teams and record numbers of Junior National bids every year.

Cari has won numerous coaching awards as the varsity coach at Marymount High School, plus six state championships, seven Southern California titles, and eight CIF Southern Section titles.  As a coach, Cari gets results! And as Sunshine's director, Cari ensures that every coach on staff is using her proven training techniques to teach, inspire and motivate their teams.

Sunshine consistently has teams in every age division ranked in the top ten in Southern California, and competing at the highest level in National competitions.

The Sunshine Volleyball Club is dedicated to creating a nationally recognized
instructional volleyball program that maximizes the potential of each of its athletes.

We strive to teach the fundamentals of volleyball at their highest level.

Our rigorous, highly competitive program prepares our teams for success at the national level.

We take pride in our club's unique atmosphere, one that fosters a true sense of family within a highly competitive environment.

The ideals of hard work and family are the bedrock of the Sunshine Volleyball Club, and will continue to be what separates our club from the rest.
